my parents neighbors allowed her 3 year daughter to wear full makeup (liner, shadow, foundation , the list goes on) from a very young age to school and every where it is. I am genuinely interested in the migration of people. The why people made the move from their homeland. I used to love finding out peoples heritage because the city is so diverse but it has turned into a negative question so now im very aware of how I might be making someone feel so i avoid it typically. But i thought it was interesting that Cynthia identifies as white. I always thought she was mixed 😕. However, from personal experience, I know that race can be relative. I was always called white when i would visit family in the caribbean. It wasn’t until I was older that people would struggle with my heritage and I was even called "the dark one" when in Amsterdam.
