I lived in Canada for about 22 years. I'm in New Zealand now. I don't want to sound mean but I don't like any of the fashion any of these women are wearing. Canadian women dress a certain way. There's better selection in New Zealand or the UK. Sophie looks like she's wearing silk pajamas and the colour is horrid although it doesn't look bad with her skin tone. Just saying........

😊Just using simple numbers for example. Purchase property for $100,000 with 5 percent loan and hold for 5 years, you will pay 25,000 in interest. Now assume inflation is 2 percent that will add 10,000 as a hidden cost over the 5 years. So at the end of 5 years your real out of pocket is $135,000. If you sell the property for $150,000 are you taxed on the &15,000 actual gain or the 50,000 gain?

Men do not wash hands. I had a male boss(58ish) he would be in & out in less then 2min, then walk over to my computer & start touching the keyboard/mouse. after he was all done, i would disinfect it. & sometimes do it in front of him. You ask how do i know he doesn't wash his hands- cause i never here the sink tap run or the soap dispenser was still dry or the soap level not moving.

I cant tell you how many people don't explain what capital gains are . They limit their definition to investments. If your last surviving parent dies and leaves you their house in their will (which is not your permanent residence) then you pay capital gains tax on it. Why don't more people talk about this instead of ultra rich people selling stocks?

Is it just me or by saying 77k of extra tax is a lot of money on a sale of 1.1M is nuts. People are so greedy. Let’s change it so capital gains tax inclusion rate is 100% and salary income, 50% inclusion tax. Work harder should be less taxes. Unrealized gains should be 100% taxed.
